Customized Chronograph Timepiece

In the beginning, there was the sports car – that's how the story goes for the legendary Chronograph I at least. When this timepiece was created by Professor 
Ferdinand Alexander Porsche in 1972, it was revolutionary, because back then watches were more decorative than functional.

But with its matt black dial, as well as white hands and indices, the Chronograph I had one aim in particular: optimum readability – just like the instruments in the 911 and in race cars.

Today's timepieces are still based on the principle of optimum readability and our experience. We call this concept 'Sports car for the wrist' – timepieces that 
extend Fascination Porsche far beyond the limits of the open road to the wrists of Porsche enthusiasts. And that embrace certain details of the vehicles and transfer these to the luxury watch segment.
